All Night JAMMIN'
Yes, I was up all night cooking seedless, blackberry JAM! It took so very long to cook. Of course, its partly my fault because I chose to do it the 'old timers' way and not use any pectin. That is actually not the worst part of it. The very worst is that my pot of hot blackberry liquid boiled over onto the stove. Just like molten lava bubbling from a volcanic crater it rolled out of the top of my pot! Now today I have the task of cleaning it all up so I can do some more canning. I think for now I will can the remaining black berries I have instead of making JAM with all of them as I had previously intended to do. I'm trying to encourage myself with the 6 pints to show for all my labor but its not easy.
