In the Beginning Blog

In the beginning, I intended my blog entries to be all about the flowers from my husband but since then I've decided to add dibbles and dabbles of my everyday life. Not that my life is so great nor even interesting compared to other people I know. But its my life and you might find it somewhat amusing, entertaining and possibly interesting enough to read more than one entry or even go as far as to subscribe to see what I ahve to say when I post a new blog entry. Whatever the case may be I will be enjoying myself just writing about stuff. I hope you will too and not become bored with all my chattering on and on. I tend to do that sometimes. I'm not the kind of person who is comfortable in crowds nor am I a good public speaker, although I have spoke before groups of people before. I'm more of a small group, one on one, person you could say. If I dont' know you then it will take a little time for me to warm up to you and then look out! I can talk your leg off! Especially if I've had plenty of sleep and few cups of coffee! Like I said at the beginning of this blog entry, I was going to be blogging all about how my precious and dearly beloved husband has consented to my wishes of giving me my flowers while I'm still alive to know all about them and to appreciate his special efforts to express his love and devotion to me.  A couple of years ago I expressed to my husband that I wanted my flowers while I'm still living. After all what good would they do me when I'm dead and gone? Since then he has made every effort to keep at least one bouquet of fresh flowers in the house for me. There have been several times when he has gotten me more than one. I like to keep one bouquet of flowers in the living room and for those times when he gets me a second bouquet of flowers I will place those at my kitchen sink. I've told him the flowers don't necessarily have to be store bought, nor do they have to be one type or another. I love many wild flowers and I like the mixed bouquets too. My only stipulation is to not get me yellow flowers, especially sun flowers. Only a few yellow flowers will be the exception, for instance, the yellow Easter flowers. I will also except a few yellow flowers in the mixed flower bouquets. I will usually take a picture of each bouquet for my memory book and to use on the computer for my desktop wallpaper, and any other thing I can think of. I started out placing them in the center of my dining table. Now that summer is here I have decided to place them in my living room so they will be sure to be seen and appreciated by everyone who comes in my home. They make me feel like I'm special and what woman wouldn't want to feel that way from her husband?
