Emily is one of my favorite makeup guru's on You Tube! On Friday nights, along with her hubby, Tyler, she does a show on BlogTV. Its so much fun to watch and chit chat with the both of them. It kinda hard for me to choose between Emily's blog and watching Beauty Club on QVC because Em is on central time and I'm on eastern time there is a conflict for me.

So here we are again in the middle of the week, Wednesday. After a wild night of storms traveled across Kentucky the day turned out to be rather pleasant. I guess with every season there is something about the weather for people to complain about. This past winter was the snow and now with spring its the storms. However, in spite of all the things we don't like about the weather there's always something to like too. For instance, the sunshine, the warmer temps and all the beauty of nature. Trees and flowers blooming in all their splendor, in some cases will almost take your breath away to look at. Anyone who knows me will know that spring is my all time favorite season hands down!
I've finally brought out my Supreme necklace I purchased last fall from Pinky Loco. Here is a link to her facebook information if you'd be interested in purchasing one of your own. My hubby and I used to own an Oldsmobile Supreme with this signature emblem on it. I can't remember right now the year but it was white with some maroon interior and part of the roof was maroon too. My 26 yr old son called it my "BLING" lol. How cute! I hadn't thought of it like that but that is how I'll refer to it now. BLING SUPREME!
I've painted my fingernails with my new ELF nail polish in the color Mango Madness! Love the color! I'd describe the color as an orangy/coral. Its a matte color, no shimmer or frost. I'm lovin it! (see my more recent blog post for the pic) I've also got an ELF lip gloss to match, how cool is that! The nail polish and lip gloss came in packs of 5 for $5 and I go them for 50% off so what would have been $1 each without the discount turned out to be 50cents each? ELF has some super cool deals. The only catch to thier specials is you have to purchase a certain amout of other products from them. All thier stuff is pretty cheap but its actually very good quality cosmetics. I'm addicted to thier stuff!
We've finally had our first hummingbird visitors over the weekend! Hubby and I were like kids at the zoo or something! We love to watch them out our kitchen windows. I'd love to see more of them than what we see. We make our own serem for them from sugar/water/little red food coloring and mix it up, put in the containers and those little hummers drink it up!
(this picture was taken last fall before the hummers left for the winter)
I've got some more pictures of them on my Squidoo pages for viewing at www.squidoo.com/hummingbirds-1
while you're there check out my other pages.

Found this China Glaze nail polish on sale at Sally's Beauty Supply a few months ago. I'm not sure I like this brand. Compared to some other brands I've used this brand is thinner and takes longer to dry. The color I've chosen to wear today is called VII. Odd dark color. The first coat looked like a dark grape but with the second coat it looked more like a dark brown on my nails. The picture below is pretty accurate to what it really looks like on my nails. It was on sale for $1.99 is why I bought it. No big deal I'll be changing it in a few days. I do have to say the China Glaze polishes last pretty good without a top coat. I've applied a top coat today so I'll see if it makes it last any better. I also applied a nail strengthener directly on my nails first to prevent any staining. I'll see how that works out too.
